Eeep, so I'm amazed at how this turned out, though in truth it wasn't supposed to have that cartoonish feel to it. Ah well. A huge thanks to ketutita for the inspiration mushroom picture.
Okay, so it is a mushroom... if you have trouble telling. I know the shading isn't the best. And the stem is actually supposed to be covered in bark, so it's like carvings one's love in a tree, but my boyfriend really likes mushrooms, so, there you have it. I used a mechanical pencil, an ebony pencil, a black permanent marker for the border, and my handy dandy eraser. Haha. Enjoy! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
